Dr. Yongran Ji studied in China Agricultural University and received his BSc in agronomy with a specialization of Plant Breeding. He continued his study in Wageningen for a MSc degree in Plant Sciences (Plant Breeding and Genetics) after which he joined the Horticulture and Product Physiology group as a PhD candidate. During his PhD he studied the effect of far-red radiation on the dry mass partitioning of tomato plants grown under LED lighting in the greenhouse.
